How Kristen Got Her Body Back

I am back and bigger than ever!! Okay, not really, but I am big. After almost 10 months of pregnancy and a 70 pound weight gain I am back to losing the weight (once again!). Baby Easton arrived via an unexpected c-section on January 8th at 10:53pm. He was 8 lbs 15 oz and perfect! Yes, I realize he was due on Christmas and January is in a completely different year… that is how late he was!!

Two days before I had him I weighed in at 225 pounds at my doctors appointment. This morning I was 166 pounds, down almost 60 pounds!! Wahoo! 15 pounds from my pre pregnancy weight and 30 pounds from where I would like to be. My goal is to get back to my goal weight of 135. It is going to be tough but I am willing to do it! I know my body isn’t ever going to look the same as it did before Easton but I am going to make it as good as it will get!

I have been going to Weight Watchers for the past month and a half but this past week I have been slacking and I need something to get me back on track. My blog helped me once before and I hope it will once again!

Since I am back at work getting in exercise is a lot harder than it was before. My goal is walk to and from work each day (35 minutes each way). On the weekends I will take Easton for a minimum of 30 minute walk. I will also do 50 sit-ups a day to start. This tummy needs work!
Something that has helped me in the past was making a list of why I want to lose the weight and reminding myself daily of these reasons. Here is what I have come up with so far:
1. Look more attractive
2. Have more confidence
3. Enjoy shopping for clothes
4. Have more flexibility in what I can wear
5. Feel good in public
6. Enjoy having pictures taken
7. Have more energy
8. Be healthy and live longer!!

My first goal is to lose 10 pounds in June! Very doable I think… now I just need to focus!
